the following recipes, use Taiga heat-resistant glasses
Spanish
Tea Punch
-1 quart of hot, black tea
-2 3/4 ounces of Grand Marnier
-2 3/4 ounces of Spanish Brandy
-1 cup of dark rum
-sugar (to taste)
Heat the tea, Grand marnier, brandy, and rum together. Do not let boil. Sweeten
with sugar to taste.
*Makes 8-10 servings
Cream
Punch
-2 cloves
-1 cinnamon stick
-2 cups of hot, black tea
-3/4 cups of sugar
-1 bottle of red wine
-grated peel of 1 lemon
-1 cup of dark rum
-juice from 1 lemon
-1 cup of whipped cream
Heat the cloves, cinnamon stick, tea, sugar, red wine, and lemon peel together,
stirring all the time until sugar dissolves. Do not let it boil. Add rum and
lemon juice. Strain the punch and pour into glasses. Serve with a dollop of cream
on top.
*Makes 8-10 servings
Paris
Punch
-1 quart of hot, black tea
-2 cups Armagnac
-1 cup of sugar
-juice from 5 oranges
-juice from 3 lemons
Heat all the ingredients together, stir all the time until sugar dissolves. Do
not let boil.
*Makes 10-12 servings
Rum
Punch
-1 1/2 cups of dark rum
-1 1/2 cups of red wine
-juice from 3 lemons
-2 cups of sugar
-1 bottle of medium-dry white wine
Heat the rum, wine, lemon juice, and sugar together. Stir the whole time until
sugar dissolves. Do not let boil. Stir in the wine before serving.
